Bat Outta Hell or... Me Outta The Desert

GRRRRR! well, I don't know what the hell I'm going to do about my major.

I just got back from my Orientation adventure yesterday. yay Long Canoe A!!! We got covered w/ sand by dust storms, bitten by fire ants, sunburned, sliced up by rocks, and flipped over. On the upside we looked at stars, had canoe fights in which we rammed into each other at ful speed, tortured peeps (yes, the marshmallow ducks), made brownie scramble, ate gorp, had intellectual conversations, saw Indian petroglyphs, and went cliff jumping. ( I wish the cliff was higher. I enjoyed jumping off it though) It was really weird camping with boys. It's really weird going to school with boys in general. Actually, school is really weird. grrrr! some girl on my trip double dipped in the salsa and garlic, and asked if she could drink from my shake! uhhh... hell no! I rarely share with anyone. That is a special privelege that you must earn. I don't even share with my family for God's sake! So.... yeah canoeing was fun. We went 44 miles and paddled through the hottest city in CA, Needles. I am burned, blistered, bloody, tired, and my eyes are bloodshot, but damn I'm buff! (I hope...) The rhythmic/repetitive motion of paddling is quite nice actually. I kicked ass in that canoe. I must say, sending us off into nature, where we are away from everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) and so busy we can't think for a week is very sneaky. BTW we rode in a fancy shmantzy tour bus, watched DVDs, and had IN N Out on our way to and from the God forsaken desert. That creeps me out. It's like there's some giant unseen benefactor paying for everything. weird......... I'm tired and feeling moronic for being placed in math for morons so I'm going to bed. Tomorrow's my first relatively free day so we'll see what happens (haha that should be my motto. I've been saying it a lot recently. that and "where's the gorp?") Wow, geeze everything about college fits under "lets see what happens". dammit! I just wish there was a set of rules like: "dont do this, do that, major in this, get the stirfry not the pizza, your favorite color is green, etc etc etc" That would be infinitely helpful since it seems I'm in limbo.
